GMS supports superhero rappel for children’s health programs

GMS is proud to have been a Presenting Sponsor for the Hospitals of Regina Foundations’ SWAT Superhero Rappel. 

Representatives from GMS were on hand on Wednesday September 10th as local heroes of the Regina Police Service (RPS) SWAT Team morphed into superheroes to raise money for children’s health programs.

Five members of the RPS SWAT team wore superhero outfits as Batman, Deadpool, Starlord, Superman and Captain America. They rappelled from the roof of the Regina General Hospital, strategically passing by the windows of the Pediatric ward to surprise and delight the young patients inside. They also spent time inside visiting the children, and brought along their special friends K9 Buster and his handler. 

In total, more than $15,000 was raised in the event.
